EHS has completed the new on line Introduction to Laboratory Safety Course, this course replaces the monthly classroom offerings and removes any remaining barriers to full compliance by anyone working in a DC laboratory specifically undergraduates with class conflicts.

Dartmouth College has a comprehensive Hazardous Waste Management, Minimization and Disposal Program. The improper disposal of hazardous materials is strictly forbidden. Detailed information and assistance on hazardous waste disposal is provided by EHS.

For more information on specific waste streams, please go the Hazardous Waste Disposal Guide under Policies and Procedures. For specific questions or to learn more about our Hazardous Waste Program, please email the Dartmouth College Hazardous Waste Manager.

To request a waste pick up, please email the Dartmouth College Hazardous Waste Manager.  Include the following information in your note: PI name, list of waste to be collected, location (building and room number) and an account string. To request a radioactive waste pick-up, please go to BIORAFT (must be “rad enabled to access”)
