| Developing young minds requires the same nurturing, attention, knowledge and patience
as tending the rarest flower. Research, content knowledge and continual assessment
of the status of the flower are crucial to its proper development. Children flourish
under the instruction of teachers who understand the connections between the brain
and learning combined with unique social and emotional traits. It is exciting
to work with pre-service teachers to help make the connections between research,
content knowledge, theory and everyday practice in the classroom. |
