For Part II, Question 1 you will need this data set:

Alabama.dta

For Part II, Question 2 you will need this data set:

nflqb.dta

It is probably easiest to just download the data to your

hard disk. On a Mac, you need to hold down the

mouse so that a menu pops up that lets you choose to

download. In Windows, you can right-click.

Some browsers/systems (for example Explorer 6 for Windows)

will let you just click on the link and use the data over the internet.

This will probably be slow, though, so may not be the best bet.

A bigger problem is that in some cases, just clicking on the link

results in corrupted data. You may get a screen that looks like garbage

after clicking on the link. If you go ahead and save that, it will

appear to be the data set, but the values will be wrong!
