Rocks and mineral samples frequently require sorting, seiving, cutting, polishing, and other processing prior to use. To this end, we have a dedicated sample preparation laboratory with saws, shaking tables for dry-seiving, other tools required for sample preparation. In addition to this facility, other specialized sample preparation equipment is available within specific laboratories in Earth Sciences.
