The Early China website is able to accept submissions in a variety of formats for conversion to online presentation. For primarily textual material the preferred formats are HTML, plain text, Rich Text, and Microsoft Word documents. Ideally, all Chinese text should be converted into the Unicode encoding scheme before submission. For more complicated material, such as databases, the Early China website can work with the contributors to determine the most suitable format for conversion for online presentation.
