
Sally is the director of riding at Morton Farm. She has a BA in Equestrian Studies from Lake Erie College and an MA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Sally lives at the farm with her family. She is certified by the ARICP in Level III Hunt Seat and Recreational Riding. She is also the coach of the Intercollegiate Riding team and is National Steward of the IHSA. Sally teaches Dartmouth lessons and Adult Community lessons. She wrote the first book on Polocrosse. Sally competes in dressage and participates in foxchasing.
Beth Barna: Beth teaches Hunt Seat and Combined Training at Dartmouth. She does Dartmouth and Community lessons and is certified by the ARICP (Level II Dressage and CT).
Kaley Gonzales: Kaley is Dartmouth’s Equestrian Assistant. Kaley is currently showing in local jumpers. She is the proud owner of Country Gentleman, a talented bay gelding. Additionally, Kaley helps out a lot with community and Dartmouth lessons.
Sarah Metz: Sarah graduated in ’03 from UVM with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Equine Studies. Sarah started as a riding student in our Community lesson program in 1990 at the age of 12 and just can’t get enough of Morton Farm! Sarah teaches Dartmouth and Community lessons and also helps out with the summer clinics. In her spare time, Sarah can be found playing around with her horse, Jeb, or her dog, Moose.
Sarah Stein has trained and ridden horses her whole life. In addition, she taught with her mother, also a horse trainer, in Colorado. Sarah grew up showing Hunters, Jumpers and Hunt Seat Equitation as a junior. She spent a few years eventing in Colorado, which was her first dressage experience. Sarah continued starting hunters and jumpers while a junior and through college. She also spent many of her summers grooming and training polo ponies in Colorado. In 2004, she moved and began working with dressage and jumper horses in Germany, while riding with some of the top trainers at both a Hanoverian breeding facility and a dressage barn in Northern Germany. Upon returning to the USA, she ran a school barn at a Hunter/Jumper show barn in Colorado and continued riding/training until recently joining DRC!
Lori Farnsworth Wakeman: Lori is a graduate from Westmoreland-Davis International Equestrian Institute, Morven Park VA. She teaches Dartmouth and Community lessons focusing primarily on Hunt Seat and Combined Training. Lori competes in some hunter and jumper shows and participates in Fox Hunting. Lori has a knack for finding great horses.
