
Morton Farm was donated by the Mortons D'63 in 1970. The property includes the farmhouse, three barns, indoor arena, two outdoor riding rings, multiple pastures, and miles of trails.
Doug Illsley is the Farm Manager. Doug joined Morton Farm in October of 2008, replacing Izzy (who had been here since the farm was donated to Dartmouth). Doug works with Sally to coordinate the needs of the farm and horses. Doug lives in the Upper Valley with his wife and children. Doug also worked at the farm through high school on weekends and summers.
Theresa Slie has worked at Morton Farm the longest. She works hard doing the day to day tasks of keeping the farm running smoothly. Theresa has a great rapport with the boarders and instructors. You can always count on Theresa to help you out or let you know what is going on at the farm.
Bob Helbock is is also a full time employee at the farm. Bob is a great rider, able to ride most any problem horse and make it look easy. He enjoys working with horses and can find the good qualities in them all. Bob is famous for being the warm up rider for jumping during the Intercollegiate shows. He gets them all around the course and makes it look simple.
Elaine Morrison is our permanent part-time worker. She is a long time rider and horse owner. Elaine has two of her own horses. Elaine is detail oriented and is always striving to make the farm look its best. She also works with Theresa in teaching the camp classes during the summer clinics. Elaine is a 4-H instructor in the Upper Valley as well.
