Announcements

The Equestrian Team finished the season in 2nd place behind UNH for the Zone I, Region 2 High Point Team standings. 

• Alexa Dixon, '15, claimed the High Point Rider award at both of the opening shows of the Fall '12 season.  Helena Witte, '13, was the Reserve High Point rider at the UVM show on 10/14/12.
• Dartmouth Equestrian took home the Reserve High Point Team ribbon at four out of the five Fall '12 horse shows.
• Our riding league for 4th-12th graders, the Athletic Equestrian League, or AEL, had a great start to their '12-'13 season.  The team hosted the first AEL competition on 9/29/12 where Charlie Harwood took home the gold medal in Beginner.  At the Seery Hill competition on 10/7/12, Chrissy Aman brought home the gold, also in Beginner. 

Equestrian Team & Dressage Club at Dartmouth Riding Center

• The Equestrian Team finished the Fall season in 2nd place in Zone I, Region 2 by finishing Team Reserve Champs at 4 out of 5 competitions.
• Dartmouth Dressage Club:  The Dartmouth Dressage Club competed at Johnson & Wales and UNH Fall '12 and had a good showing at both competitions. 

The Dean of the College Office, through its Executive Officer, is responsible for the operation of the Dartmouth Riding Center. The facility serves as a home for the Dartmouth Equestrian Team, operating under Dartmouth Athletics, and the Dartmouth Dressage Club, operating under Dartmouth Club Sports.
