Undergraduate Business Courses

The new business courses, developed in conjunction with the Tuck School of Business, are aimed at exposing undergraduates to core theories and principles of business behavior within the national and international socioeconomic environment.

The courses have no prerequisites, can be taken independently of each other in any order, and are open to students regardless of major. Priority will be given to students by class year, with seniors receiving the highest priority.  First-year students are not eligible.

The courses began last spring with "Financial Accounting," taught by Professor Robert Resutek.  This year, “Financial Accounting” will be offered in the winter and "Principles of Marketing" will be offered in the spring.

During the 2010-11 academic year, all three business courses will be offered: "Business Management and Strategy" in the fall, “Financial Accounting” in the winter, the “Principles of Marketing” in the spring.

The Undergraduate Business Course Initiative is made possible through generous contributions from Susan and Richard Braddock, Barbara and Brad Evans, Sandra and Arthur Irving, Beverly and Robert Koski, and James Silcock.
