Stores

There are two stores in Hanover where you can get outdoor gear. Omer and Bob’s on Allen Street (next to EBAs) has outdoor sports oriented gear (like bikes, skis and boards, racquets, and clothing). Hanover Outdoors on Lebanon Street (an Orvis dealer, down the street from Ben & Jerry’s) has gear for fishing.

Five miles south of Hanover, the Powerhouse Mall in West Lebanon has an EMS and an L.L. Bean. If you can’t get a ride, there’s a free bus service in the area: Advance Transit.

In Norwich is Dan & Whit’s, a general store which also has outdoor gear oriented towards New England winters. Hirsch’s in Lebanon, New Hampshire, and Farm-Way in Bradford, Vermont, also have an excellent selection of outdoor winter clothing.
