Dartmouth Cross Country Ski Center
XC Skiing, Ice Skating, Snowshoeing, and Ski & Skate Rentals
The Dartmouth Cross Country Ski Center maintains over twenty-five kilometers of groomed cross country ski trails on Oak Hill and Garipay Field in Hanover, New Hampshire, as well as the ice on Occom Pond for ice skating. The Cross Country Ski Center has two facilities. One is based out of the DOC House on Occom Pond, which provides equipment rentals for skiing, skating, and other winter activities, as well as group and private instruction. The other facility is at Oak Hill, located in the north-east corner of Hanover. To get there, go north on Route 10 past the Golf Course, turn right at the Co-op gas station, then take a sharp left after the road turns to dirt — park in the first lot on the right.
Download a trail map (PDF, 2.1 MB).
Passes required! Download a season trail pass application (Word, 22KB), or stop by the basement of Robinson Hall, or buy a day pass at DXC on Occom Pond or at Oak Hill for $10. Your Season Trail Pass will have extra benefits at these Nordic Centers: Eastman's 5 times, Grafton Pond 3 Times, Smuggler's Nordic Center unlimited, NO TRAPPS!!!! We should be getting 2 times at Woodstock, but still needs to be confirmed.
For downhill/alpine skiing and snowboarding, visit the Dartmouth Skiway.
