DOC AT in a Day Hike
On October 10th, the DOC organized the first ever hike of the entire Appalachian Trail in a single day. Thanks to everyone who participated! Stories and pictures are filtering in. Expect to see some up here soon. Go here for more info.
Cenennial Anniversary Banquet
Join us December 12th, 2009 at Dartmouth's Skiway Lodge to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the DOC. The event will be from 6-10pm, with daytime activites in the Hanover area. To RSVP, call Laura Dukeshire in the OPO office at (603) 646-0351.
Art in the White Mountains
The Hood Museum of Art presents When Men and Mountains Meet: Artists Celebrating the White Mountains as a tribute to the Dartmouth Outing Club Centennial. This show highlights selected landscape paintings of the White Mountains from the nineteenth century and draws our attention to how artists played a key role in shaping the way people viewed this wilderness region.
Rauner Museum Archives Display
An Enduring Passion: The DOC at 100 - Artifacts and documents from the DOC Archives will be on display in Rauner Museum for the months of September and October.
