The audio and visual materials in the Dartmouth Jewish Sound Archive are available unrestricted to users on the Dartmouth College campus network as well as users on the Hebrew College campus network. In addition, we will give access to other users on an individual basis for bona fide research or educational purposes. To obtain access, use the Register button on the left panel (or below). You will need to provide a short paragraph explaining your intended use of the archive.

This site uses QuickTime audio streaming. In order to access these materials you must have Quicktime properly installed.
We use RTSP port 554 to stream audio. If you are behind a firewall you may experience difficulties accessing the QuickTime streaming media on this site. Contact your network administrator to inquire into opening the necessary ports to allow for RTSP streaming. Some internet service providers block some of the ports. It has been our experience that some users are unable to listen to our tracks as a result. This is not something we can fix, we are sorry about that, but this is something you need to take up with either your network administrator or your ISP.
