On Friday, September 5, 2014, Dartmouth entrepreneurs and venture capitalists, in collaboration with the Dartmouth Entrepreneurial Network and Dartmouth Silicon Valley, will host the Dartmouth Entrepreneurs Forum 2014 at the UCSF Mission Bay Conference Center in San Francisco, CA. This all-day event is open to the entire Dartmouth community, including alumni, students, faculty and employees from the College, Tuck, Thayer and the Geisel School of Medicine.
This year’s Forum is a unique opportunity for anyone in the greater Dartmouth community who is interested in the entrepreneurial eco-system. We have Dartmouth speakers who are coming in from all over the country to present at the Forum, which will include:
- Main tent sessions with Dartmouth tech leaders from New Relic, Amazon, and Salesforce.com.
- An update on the College’s new Center for Innovation and other entrepreneurial activities in Hanover.
- Panels of Dartmouth tech execs and investors on topics such as fundraising, managing teams, product/market fit, user acquisition, buying/selling companies and IPOs.
- Presentations from successfully launched Dartmouth startups.
- A competition for seed/early stage Dartmouth startups with over $30,000 in prizes, including a $25,000 prize for first place.
The Forum will have multiple opportunities for networking, with an extended happy hour at the conclusion of the presentations. We are expecting over 250 members of the greater Dartmouth community to take advantage of this unparalleled opportunity to meet like-minded alums interested in the world of tech and entrepreneurship.
The Dartmouth Entrepreneurs Forum 2014 is yet one more example of the uniquely powerful and tight Dartmouth community in the world of tech. We look forward to seeing you and the rest of the Dartmouth family in San Francisco on September 5th.
