Homeplate, located on the south side of Thayer Hall, provides the Dartmouth community with menu options that have an emphasis on quality, freshness, nutrition, and presentation. Foods cooked at Homeplate are lower fat, lower cholesterol, lower sodium, and high fiber. Specials like Beef and Broccoli Kamaya, and traditional Roast Turkey dinner are part of Homeplate’s dinner offerings along with vegetarian offerings of Orzo with Roasted Vegetables, and White Bean Cakes with Salsa.

The salad bar has a wide variety of fresh fruits, protein foods, dried fruits and locally grown produce when available. Other popular items at the HP salad bar are homemade flavored yogurts made fresh daily with locally produced CABOT yogurt, and a wide variety of toppings including DDS’ homemade granola.  Nearby at HP’s ever popular Panini station, diners can also choose from six to seven varieties of Panini including the favorites—“Fresh Mozzarella and Tomato” and “The Smokehouse”.

Marty’s Grill at Homeplate is a hopping place on campus where customers can order grilled specialties such as Beef Strips, Chicken, Salmon, and New Hampshire-raised Hardwick Beef Burgers and Buffalo Burgers. In addition to regular lunch and dinner service, Homeplate offers Sunday Brunch at an-all-you-care-to-eat buffet for a single price.  HP's eco-friendly trayless Sunday Brunch features Pancakes, make your own Belgian Waffles with toppings bar, Scrambled Eggs, Hash Browns and Fresh Fruit.

HP also hosts biweekly dessert demos during the evening meal where delicious and desirable Bananas Foster and Chocolate Decadence can be found.

Homeplate boasts a northern New England ambiance with scenic window views of changing leaves on the Green Mountains of Vermont, and of silvery slopes during the winter months.
