| About the Dartmouth Civil Liberties
Union
The Dartmouth Civil Liberties Union was formed in
July, 2003, to promote a better understanding of civil liberties and
individual rights on the Dartmouth campus and in the Upper Valley.
The organization seeks to foster an environment where Dartmouth
community members can discuss issues relevant to their civil
liberties and move towards a better understanding of different
viewpoints. DCLU also seeks to discourage civil liberties
violations both on and off campus through proactive education.
The DCLU is a chapter of the New
Hampshire Civil Liberties Union and is affiliated to the
American Civil Liberties Union.
The DCLU is a non-partisan organization.
