I'll be working for the Rwandan Ministry of Health and Harvard Medical School as a health policy research assistant to Dr. Agnes Binagwaho, Rwandan Permanent Secretary of Health. I'll be based in Kigali, Rwanda and will research maternal and child health within the legal framework of the Government of Rwanda, human resource challenges in global health, and the effects of institutional partnerships in strengthening integrated healthcare delivery systems for chronic infectious and non-communicable diseases.

Post-graduation, Kat spent two years completing a post-bachelor fellowship at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation in Seattle, WA, where she was trained in quantitative methods in global health research. She then completed a Masters in Public Health at the University of Washington.
