C. Everett Koop Scholars are selected for community service in the field of addiction medicine, education in addiction medicine beyond College or Medical School requirements, and commitment to continued work in the addiction medicine field.
Scholars are scheduled to meet with Dr. Koop on a regular basis throughout the year. They will also receive educational materials from Dr. Koop, and will be invited guests at relevant functions sponsored by the Dartmouth Center on Addiction, Recovery and Education.
