Mark Reed, M.D. is the Director of Dartmouth College's Counseling and Health Resources Departments within the College Health Service. He has a longstanding interest in adolescent substance abuse and suicide prevention. He is board certified in Psychiatry with added qualifications in Addiction Psychiatry. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Reed has been very active in undergraduate, medical student, resident, fellow, and community education. He has given numerous talks regionally and nationally. He was recognized by the American Psychiatric Association in 2002 with the Nancy Roeske Award for excellence in Medical Student Education. He chairs Dartmouth Medical School's Committee for Students with Disabilities and serves on the Group for the Advancement of Psychiatry (GAP) committee on College Mental Health.
