This workshop is designed for faculty who are interested in learning more about incorporating works of art and images into their teaching. Through observation, deductive reasoning, and the application of a contextual framework, participants will explore discussion methods that are useful in interpreting and learning from visual culture. They will also receive an introduction to the Hood Museum of Art and the Bernstein Study-Storage Center where classes can gather to study works from the museum's collection of over 60,000 objects. This event, while sponsored by DCAL, takes place in the Hood Museum.
