About Fernanda & Guillermo:

Fernanda Ghi & Guillermo Merlo are internationally renowned performers and choreographers of argentine tango, who have also developed a faithful international following as instructors of the dance. They performed in the critically acclaimed Broadway hit "Forever Tango," for which the "Forever Tango Dancers" were nominated for the 1998 Tony Award for Choreography. Subsequent to this they were crowned the 1999 World Professional Argentine Tango Champions by the International Dance Organization.

Fernanda Ghi was initially trained in classicial and modern dance. However, at the age of 13 she began to dance Argentine tango and soon thereafter it became her passion. Guillermo Merlo was already dancing Argentine Folklorico and modern dance when at the age of 12 he discovered Argentine tango. Fernanda & Guillermo have been dancing and teaching together since 1998 and have recently moved to Boston. This is their second workshop at Dartmouth College.
