New gifts to Dartmouth totaling $15.5 million have been made in honor of President James Wright and Susan DeBevoise Wright, the College announced June 9. The fund-raising effort, led by the executive committee of the Campaign for the Dartmouth Experience, resulted in $12.5 million for scholarships and the Dartmouth College Fund, and $3 million from the Sherman Fairchild Foundation to establish the James Wright Professorship.
