The Tuck School of Business and the Thayer School of Engineering are joining forces to offer a conference on business sustainability this month. The Second Annual Business Sustainability Initiative conference, slated for February 27, will examine the role leaders can play in creating a more sustainable world, one in which management decisions consider implications for sustaining financial, social, and environmental returns. Speakers on several panels will address critical issues at the nexus of business and sustainability, including Micro Credits: Granting Access to the Economy; Challenges to Implementing Sustainable Development: A Call to Action; Greening the Supply Chain; and Sustainable Partnerships: Joint Ventures that Create Impact.
The conference also provides an opportunity for business and community leaders to interact with Tuck and Thayer School faculty who are on the leading edge of business and sustainability issues and with students interested in pursuing careers in business and sustainability, as well as with other leaders in the field.
