EVENT COVERAGE
:: What We'll Cover ::
Here's some quick information about the way Dartmouth EMS covers events:
- Each event will be covered by a crew usually of 1-3 members with at least 1 EMT,
depending on availability.
- We provide our crews with all of the equipment necessary to provide Basic Life Support (BLS)
care on scene. Depending on the nature of the standby, these may include a trauma kit,
C-spine immobilization equipment, oxygen, a burn kit, splinting equipment, an Automated External
Defribillator (AED), etc.
- We currently do NOT transport patients. We will provide BLS support on scene, and will request
Hanover Fire to respond with an ambulance as needed.
- The care we provide is free to patients (though we do charge an hourly fee to the requesting party).
:: Requesting Event Coverage ::
To request Dartmouth EMS to cover your event, simply fill out the form below. We honor coverage
requests on a first-come first-serve basis. Please request coverage at least one week prior
to the event. Last-minute requests will be honored only if crews are available. The requesting
party will be billed $30/hr. for the entire crew. Please provide a location where you would like
Dartmouth EMS to stage at your location. Patients receiving care will not be billed.
