The department is housed in Bartlett Hall, a red brick building centrally located on the campus. Built in 1890, the building was named for the Reverend Samuel Colcord Bartlett, president of the college in 1880s. Today, in addition to housing DAMELL, Bartlett Hall is also home to the Arts & Humanities Resource Center (second floor).
