The Isabel Cookson Paleobotanical Award Presented by the Paleobotanical Section, B.S.A. 2003 The Isabel Cookson Paleobotanical Award recognizes the best paper presented at the annual meetings of the Paleobotanical Section by a student or recent Ph.D. The award for 2003 is presented to : Michael Dunn, (Ohio University) for his presentation of the paper “The Fayetteville Flora of Arkansas, USA: An Upper Mississippian plant fossil assemblage with permineralized and compression remains.” History of the award and previous winners.
