North Carolina Rides

The sun may have set on the latest iteration of the Dartmouth Cycling Spring Break trip, but the memories have not yet faded away.

On the evening of 15th March 2006, thirteen Dartmouth students and a cycling-addicted alum left Hanover for the rumored warmth and beauty of the southern Appalachians. While the temperatures on the mountain passes may have been a bit chillier than expected, the rides were epic. After a week of endless climbs on the Blue Ridge Parkway, uber-fast switchback descents, and hanging out in the sweetest house around, the team emerged psyched and ready to head north and show the ECCC exactly what Dartmouth Cycling was capable of.
