Lake Morey

Lake Morey (sp?)-- a classic lake, north of Lake Fairlee. In the winter, people do long distance speed skating on it. In the spring/summer, it is often featured on the wednesday night ride, as a pack of riders travels wrecklessly along its outer banks.

The road about Lake Morey is very, very fun, especially at speeds. To get there, as you are heading north on the vermont side of the connecticut, take a left. It's pretty obvious. You'll pass under the freeway. One can either stay straight to go around the lake clockwise, or turn right to go counterclockwise. I recommend clockwise.

At the north end of the lake is a road that will take you to bradford. It's pretty nice too.

In the ~ north-west corner of the lake, as you are traveling clockwise, if you take a left, you will take a (non-road-bike-rideable) trail to bloodbrook road (see the lake fairlee ride).
