A Delightful Little Ride World Cup

Cyclocross World Cup #11: Hoogerheide, Netherlands-- A Delightful Little Ride

Highlights:

somehow I got a front row start. It was a mistake but I ended up starting next to Lars boom and Niels Albert. Im not kidding.
I went really backwards, quickly
I wasnt last, barely
not racing for a month sucks.
The course was sweet. the start/finish went down the cobbled main st of a town. There was a also one of those euro "flyover" things
luckily the rain/hail held off until the elite race, where like 20 guys DNFed because it was too cold. sallies. Pech, if you post this on the wiki, replace "people not wanting to get sick pre-worlds" with "sallies"
Page was 9th, after being in 5th for most of the day. I guess he was so cold he could barely move. trebon was 10th, just 14 sec back.
also in a Belgian newspaper yesterday Page said something to the effect of "Americans are lazy. they win races in their own country, but when they come to europe they only show for the start money and then get lapped."
Rudy, your wheels have now been raced (or whatever I did today) in Holland.

Hope you guys are doing well/raging/training/tapering/selling shit on the wiki.

keep me updated on whats going on at RDY

Editor's note: Toby finished 54th in the U23 race. More info on cyclingnews
