It all started in the spring of 2004, when Jon took a hiatus from the mountain bike world for a go at road racing. After his first two rides ever on a road bike, he found himself in the cold rain of the boston beanpot on a borrowed bike. After inumerrable borrowed parts and coutless investigations into the effects of liquid carbo loading using the "Shotgun Method" (further reading see Barton, Yezefski et al. 2004), his first road season was, well...unforgettable (except the parts he can't remember). But he still goes faster when you put trees and big rocks in his way.
