(If you are on the ride list then you'll hear about all the details you need to know to join us.) 1.26.07 - More on TEAM CLOTHING!TEAM CLOTHING Distribution and Sale Since we had such a good turnout at the first clothing session, this will probably be the last chance before racing starts in March to pick up your clothing order (thanks to everyone who came to the last session!). We will also have team socks, team armwarmers, and extra team clothing of all kinds for sale, so stop on by! We'll also have the remainder of vintage team clothing on sale at a discount -- this is a great chance to get extra jerseys, vests, shorts, etc at a great discount. For all of you Alumni and Friends, so patiently awaiting your glorious team-issue clothing, I'm sorry I blew it. I know I said I'd have it in the mail two weeks ago, but school is hard, remember? I'll bet by now y'all have printed out life-sized versions of the images from the clothing page and taped together a sweet kit of your own. I've heard the chamois isn't too good though (ha ha ha). But kidding aside, I promise I'll get them in the mail on Tuesday, so they should be in your hands by the end of next week. I'm a little vague on the details, but he should be racing this saturday in the world cup, and then next weekend at the big show. In a recap, for those not present, fun was had by all. Eben Clattenburg was declared the winner, due to the judicious application of cheating techniques (i.e. cutting the course where no one can see you). 1.13.07Clothing UpdateWe had great turnout at the clothing session on Tuesday, with almost everyone picking up their order. Thanks to everyone who could make it, it makes our lives easier! We will be having a makeup session sometime in the near future for those of you you missed it. For all you Alumni and Friends out there, salivating in anticipation of your sweet new Dartmouth Team gear: We have all your orders organized, and they will be shipped out via USPS Priority early next week. The postal service assures us nationwide arrival by the end of the week (as long as I get my butt in gear on Monday and Tuesday!) For now, you'll just have to keep checking out the pictures on the Clothing page. 1.12.07Record numbers turn out for January team ride.Winter time training is in full swing here on the Dartmouth Cycling Team, although thankfully the weather thus has been mild. On this rather pleasant friday afternoon, the epic ride, born on the whim of one Mike Hooolmes, saw a record 13-rider peloton, ferociously ravaging the Dogford loop at an easy pace. In other news, Toby was noticeably absent, since he is currently having his VO2max tested at one Fiordifrutta training camp. Toby, you better attack the heck out of Matt White on your first team ride. I know you can drop him. 1.8.07![]() Apparently this is the 1981 ECCC championships. Pretty cool, especially that guy's shorts. 1.8.07Toby Marzot headed for Cyclocross world championships in belgium!More details to follow 12.18.06CROSS NATIONALS! Dartmouth had a great showing at 'Cross Nationals in Providence, RI. Toby Marzot took 8th and Kevin Wolfson was 15th in the stacked U23 race on Saturday. Jen Stebbins raced to 4th in the women's U23 race. She was 4th overall for collegiate women, and first in DII, good enough for a stars and stripes jersey! The next day, Toby and Kevin placed 6th and 12th in the collegiate men's race, which brought Dartmouth to 2nd in the DII Omnium standings, only 30 points behind MIT! I'm going to try to keep both up to date for a while.) Toby Marzot is currently the U23 (cyclingnews.com) Verge cyclocross series leader with two more races left. The U23 national race is the 16th, and the collegiate race is the next day, so be ready for him to tear it up. Rudy also won the Bay State Cyclocross Men's B race. It is still very much under construction, but it can be viewed here. It should now work for IE6 and 7 as well as firefox, safari, and related browsers. 11/13/06National Collegiate Team Rankings from the 2005-2006 season have been released. The Dartmouth Cycling Team is ranked third in the country!
