Description: This intern assists with program development and implementation. S/he is involved in the planning for and logistics of a wide range of programs, including the annual winter production of The Vagina Monologues and the spring Visionary in Residence. Excellent organizational and communication skills required, and a strong commitment to gender equity and social justice preferred.
Reports to: Director and SAAP Coordinator
Hours: 8-10/week
Description: The Men's Project intern may coordinate weekly discussions and termly campus-wide programs designed to actively involve male students in education and prevention work related to sexual violence and social justice, as well as related issues such as gender and communication, relationships, male identity formation, and more. Interns may coordinate weekly dinner discussions, plan campus wide programs for each term, and assist with project development.
Note: The internship can be shared (two students split the hours and stipend).
Reports to: Director or other CWG designate depending on topic
Hours: 8-10/week
Description: This internship exists to provide structure and support to students wishing to create new initiatives that explore gender issues in students' lived on-campus experiences. The internship responsibilities are determined in consultation with the Director and look to securing a structure that will no longer require the intern role after 1-2 years. Creating avenues for rising leadership will be central to the structure in order to ensure the initiatives sustainability. Application involves a detailed proposal for the new initiative.
Reports to: Administrative Assistant
Hours: 5-10/week
Description: Office Assistants provide general support to assist in the day-to-day operations of the CWG, including posting flyers, making copies, conducting research, managing library materials, assisting with program logistics, etc. Office Assistants report to the CWG Administrative Assistant.
