Non-Dartmouth Personnel

Advances are not normally made to non-Dartmouth personnel. If circumstances warrant such an advance (e.g., a prospective employee coming to campus for an interview), the advance will be made to the Dartmouth employee authorizing the travel and will be the personal obligation of that employee until properly discharged. If a check is to be prepared, it will be made payable to the traveler, but is nonetheless recorded as an obligation to the Dartmouth employee authorizing the advance, who is ultimately responsible for a proper accounting and settlement.
