Leisure Travel

The primary function of the College Travel Office is to provide assistance to all College employees with their business travel needs. However, on a time available basis, the College Travel Office will assist employees with their leisure travel requirements. Personal travel is limited to air, train and rooms at business hotels.  More complicated reservations should be referred to the Garber Leisure Travel Office. The most efficient way to meet a traveler's leisure needs is to call the College Travel Office when the traveler requires only air or train reservations. If you are interested in hotel or package arrangements, you should contact the Garber Leisure Travel Office at 603-643-2700 / 800-640-4137.

The Travel Office will charge a fee of $10. per passenger reservation.  The personal travel fee defers a portion of the cost allowing this service to continue.   Use of the after hours emergency service will generate a per call fee. Dartmouth is billed a through charge which is passed along to all travelers, the current fee is approximately $18. 

In the event you require only air or train reservation please call or e-mail your request to the College Travel Office. If you require immediate assistance, contact the Garber Leisure Travel Office directly.

If you need assistance with changes to your leisure itinerary after regular business hours, call the Garber Travel Emergency Services at 800-508-7445. You will be charged a service fee per call.
