Rental vehicles for international travel should be obtained through the College Travel Office. They will insure that you are receiving the best possible rates through a reputable rental agency.
Travelers should purchase rental collision damage waiver insurance and liability insurance when renting cars outside the United States. This is often seen as a full coverage option. Use of the JPMorgan corporate card for rental of these vehicles does not provide uniform coverage.
All other Dartmouth College approved drivers who will be driving the vehicle must be listed as well.
For leisure travel and vehicle rentals in foreign countries VISA's insurance is secondary. VISA does not provide liability coverage for either business or leisure rentals. The traveler must purchase additional insurance coverage.
