- Navigate your own individual path to a career in the health professions.
- Identify a good career "fit" with one or more career fields.
- Successfully fulfill professional school prerequisites.
- Engage in extracurricular and/or academic activities that will increase knowledge of the health professions and increase chances for admission.
- Create a post-baccalaureate action plan for professional school preparation.
- Develop an action plan for successful completion of graduate and professional school exams (MCAT, DAT, GRE, etc.).
- Collect letters of recommendation from faculty and other professionals and follow-up with letter writers in a professional manner before, during and after the letter is written.
- Complete professional school applications in a timely fashion.
- Prepare for a successful professional school interview.
- Network with professional school students and other healthcare professionals.
