Teacher Certification Programs

  • Chicago Teaching Fellows - Provides a pathway for individuals to become teachers in Chicago Public Schools (CPS) and to significantly impact the academic achievement of the city's children.
  • The Massachusetts Initiative for New Teachers (MINT) - An intensive teacher preparation program that provides a unique opportunity for recent college graduates to make an immediate impact in the classroom and earn their Massachusetts teaching credentials.
  • New York City Teaching Fellows - Teach in NYC public schools while earning a Master's degree in specific subject area, subsidized by the program.
  • Teach Kentucky - Recruits recent graduates from selective national institutions of higher education to teach in Kentucky public schools.
  • Mississippi Teacher Fellowship Program - The purpose of the program is to attract qualified teachers to the critical teacher shortage areas of Mississippi.
  • New Teachers Collaborative - A year long path to teacher certification. For two summer sessions and the academic year between, you join the faculty of a small public secondary school in central Massachusetts or southern New Hampshire - collaborating in a program guided by the principles of the Coalition of Essential Schools.
  • Shady Hill School Teacher Training Course - Apprentice teacher program for pre-K through eighth grade in Cambridge, MA. Apprentice teachers learn through observation, supervised teaching, workshops, and seminars. Many apprentices also elect to participate in a joint master's program.
