4. Create and Save Application Materials
5. Apply for an Opportunity in DartBoard
6. Sign up for Interviews
7. Practice Interviewing
8. Arrive Early For Your Interview
9. Follow Up on Your Interview

Recruiting Organizations for each major application deadline will be announced via email – you must have an active DartBoard profile in order to receive Career Services emails.

Before you apply to any opportunity, you should do some background research on the employer and the position to which you're applying:

Read Entry-Level and Internship Descriptions

Within each description in DartBoard you will find the job or internship responsibilities, qualifications needed, application materials required (e.g. Resume, Unofficial Transcript, Writing Sample, etc.), a link to the contact person's information for your cover letter, Citizenship/Visa Requirements for each employer and a direct link to the employer's website.

Attend Employer Fairs held on campus at Dartmouth

• Employer Connections Fair: Open to ALL students and features over 100 employers in public, private and non-profit sectors.
• Engineering & Technology Fair: Held at the Thayer School in fall. See Thayer School Career Services for more information.

Use the Dartmouth Career Network

Search the Dartmouth Career Network for alumni by employer name to obtain first-hand insight and advice on their organizations.
