Internships are an excellent way to review talent for future entry-level
openings. Additionally, internships allow you to market your organization once
the intern returns to campus.
Dartmouth College operates on a year-round academic calendar, allowing
undergraduate students to pursue full-time internships any season of
the year for 10-12 week blocks. Internships will be shared with a
consortium of colleges, including Claremont Colleges, Cornell University, Johns
Hopkins University, Lewis & Clark College, Occidental College, Reed
College, University of Chicago, University of Puget Sound, University of
Rochester, and Whitman College via MonsterTRAK. (If you wish to target
Dartmouth students exclusively, please indicate this.)
To post an internship:
Email your contact information and the internship description to career.services@dartmouth.edu.
If you have questions about what to include, call Career Services at (603)
646-2215. Students will be able to access your posting through our on-line
database (MonsterTRAK). Interested students will contact you directly.
If you want to increase visibility for your internship
Arrange a formal resume deadline/drop (a.k.a. resume referral) or on-campus
interviews by calling our Assistant Director, Employer Relations at (603)
646-2665. Career Services will collect resumes of interested students, then
forward them electronically to you for review. If you are interviewing on
campus, we will contact selected students and schedule your interviews for you
as well.
