All on-campus interviews take place in Career Services. Career Services
schedules all first-round interviews. Subsequent interviews are arranged by the
employer. Employers must offer flexibility in scheduling subsequent interviews,
in consideration of Dartmouth's compressed quarter term academic schedule.
(Please offer students a minimum of two office visit dates from which to
choose.) A minimum of three business days lead time is required between
notification and actual interviews at an employer's site. No interviews shall
take place during reading or exam periods.
Internship and Entry-Level recruiting can be arranged during any term.
During fall, on-campus interviews begin Oct. 13, 2008 and run through Nov. 20,
2008. During winter term, on-campus interviews typically begin Jan. 22, 2009
and run through Feb. 12, 2009. We also offer interviews at other times.
Call (603) 646-2665 to schedule.
A standard interview schedule has 13 half-hour slots, from 8:30am-4:30pm.
Modified schedules are easily arranged. To schedule interviews, contact our

Here's how our process works:
- Employers call our office to schedule an interview date or resume/cover
letter submission deadline.
- Employers receive a confirmation e-mail from our office, then return
required paperwork (signed policy forms and job descriptions). Employers then
obtain password access to our online Recruiting system, DartBoard.
- Students are notified of an employer's upcoming deadline, may view the job
description(s) online, and submit application materials online prior to the
specified deadline. (See Recruiting Calendar)
- At a specified deadline (See individual job descriptions), Resumes/Cover
letters are bundled. The following day, employers log into DartBoard to retrieve
their application bundles.
- Employers enter our DartBoard system and data enter interview decisions
(preselects and alternates), no later than the deadline specified. They have
the option of e-mailing preselects and alternates to us instead and we will
handle data entry.
- Students go into DartBoard to determine whether they have been preselected
for interviews and to obtain interview sign-up instructions/deadlines.
- At the specified signup date/time, students begin scheduling their
interviews online. Employers may view online schedules in DartBoard two
business days prior to the interview date.
- Once an employer's list of Alternates is exhausted, vacancies are filled by
our office on a first-come/first-served basis.
- Employers arrive in Hanover for interviews, bringing resumes for scheduled
students. Final, printed schedules will be provided by Career Services.
