To
set up alerts for your favorite journals, go to
the online edition and follow the directions provided
under headings such as "alerts" or "e-mail
alerts."
Cambridge Journals provides a free
email alerting service of new arrivals and tables
of contents. Searches and articles links may also
be saved on your CJO personal homepage. To register,
go to the Cambridge
Journals site and click on the "Register"
tab. Once registered and logged in, under the
"Account Options" menu, select "Manage
Emails." Click on "Journals of Interest"
and from there select the titles that you wish
be notified about.
EBSCOHost Research Databases offers
alerts for journals listed in their Academic Search
Premier, Business Source Premier, Regional Business
News, and Alt HealthWatch databases. Newspaper
alerts are available for newspaper in the Newspaper
Source Database. To set up an alert locate the
journal title using the title list under the database
description. In the upper right corner of the
journal or newspaper title screen will be a link
entitled Journal Alert. Select this link and follow
directions for creating a new account or accessing
your alert account.
ScienceDirect offers a number of
different alerts for Elsevier Titles. To set up
your alerts go to the ScienceDirect webpage and
select personal login. If you already have a user
name and password, you will be prompted to enter
it. If not, you can click on "create a free
personal profile." Once you are logged on
you can click on the "My Alerts" tab
to create or modify your alerts.
The Kluwer website allows you to
register for current content alerts from specific
journals and book series, or in specific subject
areas. To set up alerts, first go to the Kluwer
site and click on "Kluwer Alert" at
the top of the page. Set up a profile and then
choose which titles or subjects you wish to receive
notification about.
To regularly receive by e-mail the
latest table of contents of any OUP journal(s),
go to the OUP
Journals page and click on "Content Alerting."
Select the journal(s) of interest, enter your
email address, and click the "Subscribe"
button at the bottom of the page.

Wiley's Personal Home Page feature
allows you to sign up for tables of contents alerts,
save your searches, and save links to your favorite
journals and articles. To register for this service,
go to Wiley
Interscience and click on "Personal Home
Page" from the menu at the top of the page.
If you already have a user name and password you
can login. To get a user name and password, click
on "Benefits for Wiley InterScience Registered
Users" and then "Register Now!"
To add journal alerts click on "Journal Finder"
from the top menu, find the journal you are interested
in, click "Add Alert" from the top menu,
and then click on "Confirm Content Alert."
