Starting November 1, the airlines will INHIBIT the issuance of any airline ticket that does not have the following information in the passenger's record:
*Full Name as it appears on Government issued ID
*Passenger's Gender
*Date of Birth
Without this information, an airline ticket cannot be issue. This is governed by the TSA and the Department of Homeland Security.
To avoid this from happening, in early October, Travel Leaders will not accept a reservation for any passenger that cannot provide this information at time of booking.
This will also apply to students, guest travelers, consultants or any other people for whom Dartmouth will be paying for airline tickets. Travel arrangers MUST have the information noted above at the time they make the reservation.
