Follow the links below to find information on loan consolidation. Consolidation is a step, like anything else financial in nature, that requires serious consideration before embarking. We provide no guarantees on any of the services offered nor do we endorse or prefer one over another.

Federal Loan Consolidation Companies

Here is a list of lenders that offer alumni to consolidate their federal loans only.

There are two Direct Consolidation Loan processes:

  1. You have one or more defaulted federal education loans that are assigned to ED for collection.
  2. You need to take action on an application that you submitted via the Direct Consolidation Loans Website prior to Jan. 2, 2014.
  3. You need to take action on an application that you submitted via the Direct Consolidation Loans Website on or after Jan. 2, 2014.

Use this process if one of the following applies to you:

  1. You have no defaulted federal education loans.
  2. You have one or more defaulted federal education loans, none of which are assigned to ED for collection.
  3. You need to take action on an application that you submitted via StudentLoans.gov on or after Jan. 2, 2014.

 

Private Loan Consolidation Companies

Refinance Loans - Federal and Private Loan Consolidation

Refinance/Consolidation Loan Options for US Citizens or Permanent Residents only

Some lenders are now offering Refinance/Consolidation Loans, specifically for MBA students. These loan programs allow alumni to either consolidate just private loans or re-finance all of the loans, both private and federal, borrowed while attending MBA School. Most offer either a fixed or variable interest rate. Here are the lenders offering the loan program.
