Exit Interview

If you received a loan(s) during your enrollment at Dartmouth College and are no longer enrolled, you are required to complete an Exit Interview. An exit interviews is a Federal Requirement for your loan(s). Dartmouth College schedules meetings on campus in May for graduating students. You will receive notification of the scheduled meetings in a letter as well as an email from our office with dates and times to choose from.

Please understand that if you do not attend an exit interview and complete the required paperwork, a transcript and check-in hold will be placed.

At the EXIT INTERVIEW we will provide you with the following information:

  • Exit Interview Booklet: This has important information regarding your loan(s) serviced by Dartmouth College
  • Repayment Schedule: This shows the amount borrowed, the interest rate, your monthly payment, and the due date of your first payment (this information is only correct if you are making all payments according to this schedule).
  • Borrower Rights & Responsibilities: This form tells you what your rights and responsibilities are for taking a loan with Dartmouth College.
  • Student Loan Questionnaire: This form is used to update your contact information after graduation. The two personal references are only used to get a message to you if we are unable to reach you.
  • Authorization to speak form: Use this form to allow another person to speak with the Student Financial Services about your loans.
