I have applied for a Federal Stafford Loan. May I deduct this loan from my amount due?

For students who have previously been awarded a Federal Stafford Loan by the College's Financial Aid Office, the expected net disbursement(s) will be indicated on your Account Statement, or on the Recent Activity Summary, under Anticipated Aid/Credits.

Students who have recently been awarded a new Federal Stafford Loan may deduct the net amount for the term from their Amount Due using the Adjustment Form, provided the Master Promissory Note and Entrance Loan Interview have been completed with their chosen lender. For further information regarding the Stafford Loan application process, please contact the Financial Aid Office at (603) 646-2451.

Please Note:

Students who have a Stafford Loan disbursement pending for two or more terms will not be able to take further deduction from the amount due without confirmation of loan approval from the Financial Aid Office, and a guarantee of the disbursement date. Any issues that may be delaying disbursement of such loans must be re-solved in order for the student to avoid Check in delays. If there are any questions regarding outstanding loans, please contact the Financial Aid Office directly at (603) 646-2451.
