Dartmouth has established channels for asking questions about regulatory compliance, seeking guidance about College policies or procedures, or reporting suspected violations of law, policy, or business ethics. Reports may be made anonymously.

 

Special Check Policy

A special check is an off-cycle check to correct administrative errors that have affected previous payrolls or to compensate an employee who has changed from an hourly position to salaried position mid pay period.

What to do when a special check may be needed:

  • When an administrative error is identified please contact Employee Information Services to discuss the appropriate actions for correction.
  • Special Checks are normally mailed directly to the employee’s payroll mailing address unless otherwise specified.
