4. How are annual distributions split between Direct and Associated Program Costs?

Most of the amount distributed annually to current operations is used to support Direct Program Costs. Between 12 and 18 percent of the total distribution is allocated to the associated costs of endowed departmental activities. Cost analyses are performed regularly to validate this allocation.
