Seating Information & Map

Seating on the Green is not available until after 6:30 a.m. on Commencement morning.

All guests are encouraged to take their seats by 9:15 a.m. as the academic procession begins at 9:30 a.m. Commencement exercises begin at 10:00 a.m.

All seating will be handled on a first come, first served basis. Using signs, tape, etc. for the purpose of saving seats is not permitted.

Photos must be taken only from your own seat; standing in the aisles is prohibited.

Umbrellas are only permitted when there is heavy rain. For those guests wishing to avoid heat, sun, or rain, closed circuit television viewing will be provided in the following air-conditioned spaces: Spaulding Auditorium*, Collis Common Ground*, L01 Carson Hall, L02 Carson Hall, 60 Carson Hall*, and 28 Silsby Hall. Additionally, the ceremony can be viewed anywhere on local access television (CATV 8 at the Hanover Inn & downtown establishments; CATV 2). *Notes viewing options easily accessible by those with mobility restrictions.
