Caps & Gowns
Seniors
Caps and gowns are worn with appropriate attire during the Commencement ceremony on Sunday. They are not worn on Class Day. Caps and gowns will be on sale at Tindle Lounge, Thayer Dining Hall, Thursday, June 11 through Saturday, June 13 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Graduates needing special gown sizes or custom gowns (i.e., those graduates under 4'9" or over 7' or graduates using a wheelchair) should contact Conferences and Special Events at (603) 646-3749 or at conferences.and.special.events@dartmouth.edu before April 24.
Graduate Students
Graduate students receive information from their individual schools or programs regarding the purchase of academic regalia.
Faculty
Arts & Sciences and DMS faculty, emeriti, and administrative officers may rent academic regalia through Conferences and Special Events. Order forms are sent out in mid-March and are due in mid-April.
