Frequently Asked Questions

How do I file a degree application?

An online degree application is available here.  Students can complete the application anytime during the academic year in which they expect to graduate.

How will my name appear on the diploma?

Your name will appear exactly as you have listed it on your degree application. Students with special characters or diacritical marks in their name should contact the Undergraduate Deans Office to discuss the correct display of their name.

Where is my diploma sent?

Students graduating in the spring and participating in the June ceremony will receive diplomas at the Commencement ceremony or immediately afterwards in Baker Main Hall, if it rains or rain is predicted (unless there are outstanding obligations preventing the release of the diploma). Diplomas for students graduating in the summer, fall, winter, or those who do not participate in the June ceremony will be sent to the diploma mailing address listed on your degree application.
